(01) The brief
JyD Ingeniería inspects welding and runs quality control (QA/QC) on industrial projects. Its domain pointed to a hosting account with broken delegation: it had no website to show clients and no way to receive quote requests.
(02) What it does
- Homepage with services, who it works for, a four-step method, reference standards and FAQ.
- Six service pages (visual and dimensional inspection, PT, MT and UT testing, QA/QC, technical dossier) covering what is included, when it is needed and the process.
- Quote form delivered by email; on phones the service cards switch to a 2x2 grid so the page does not grow too long.
(03) How it was built
- Astro with static output served from a Cloudflare Worker: the public site does not depend on any server being up.
- Custom photos in a documentary style, converted to WebP per screen size.
- Five colour palettes tested for AA contrast before choosing the final one with the client.
(04) Security
- Strict Content Security Policy and HSTS; fonts are served as files, not inlined, so the CSP stays closed.
- The form validates in the browser and again on the server; without the mail key configured it returns an honest error instead of faking the send.
- www and http redirect to the canonical version with a 301.
(05) Speed and Google
Local mobile Lighthouse: accessibility, best practices and SEO at 100, CLS 0. Local-business structured data, sitemap and llms.txt.
(06) What it deliberately doesn’t do
- It does not claim certifications or show client logos without the client’s approval.
- No client portal or report downloads.
